RUB-A-DUB SYDNEY FIRECRACKERS

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Jatz Crackers (or gluten-free crackers for a gluten-free option)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (spray preferred)

  • 1 tsp Rub-A-Dub Spicy Lemon Myrtle Seasoning

  • 50 g Parmigiano Reggiano, finely blitzed

  • Optional Garnishes:

    • Lemon zest

Method

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 180°C (fan-forced) or 200°C (conventional). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Prepare the Crackers:

    • In a small bowl, Place JAtz and spray with oil as you toss to evenly coat them.

    • ADD Rub-A-Dub Spicy Lemon Myrtle Seasoning and parmiggiano and toss around to evenly coat.

    • Arrange the Jatz Crackers on the prepared baking tray. try not to overlap crackers for even cooking.

  3. Bake the Crackers:

    • Place the tray in the oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crackers are golden brown.

  4. Serve:

    • Let the crackers cool before serving. Garnish with a touch of lemon zest for added brightness. Enjoy as a snack or appetizer on a cheeseboard.

Suggestions for Dietary Needs

  • Vegan: Use dairy-free parmesan or nutritional yeast in place of Parmigiano Reggiano.

  • Vegetarian: This recipe is naturally vegetarian.
